  • The location of Tal Al Abraq which returns back to five thousand years from the period of the second & third thousand B.C was discovered by an Iraqi mission in the year 1973 followed by an the Australian mission
  • The history of Al Dor Area returns back to 2000 years from the first till the fourth century  AD, as it had been discovered by several excavation missions started by an Iraqi mission in the year 1973 followed by several other missions as the French, Belgium, Danish & English missions
  • The most important discovered monument was the God of the Sun which was the first temple where the God of the Sun had been worshiped & the first religious building that demonstrated this kind of worship in the south east of the Arabian Island which reflects the development in the urban construction

  • After the atrophy of Al Dor location during the Hellenistic Era due to the repletion of the creek with clay & the  conversion of the sailing routes away from it, the citizens of Umm Al Quwain had moved to Al Mallah Island then to Al Sinniyah Island Citizens of Umm Al Quwain had settled in Al Sinniyah Island in the first century AD, the former mentioned  island contains two towers which are the sea tower & the daytime tower in addition to some other settlements and some traditional buildings & the old graveyard which is still available to date which is a conclusive evidence on the development of traditional architecture with the development of the environmental circumstances

  • In the year 1768 the fort had been built in Al Sinniyah Island whichwas the start point of urban growth & the development in the construction field, as of today several heritage & historical buildings are available where the fort is the oldest & currently it is a national museum since year 2000
